Safety First
Tornado/Storm Shelter:
Our central hallway is a 560 cubic foot tornado/storm shelter constructed of eight-inch, reinforced concrete walls and reinforced, eight-inch concrete ceiling.
Reward walls:
Our exterior walls are constructed of eight-inch, reinforced concrete poured between foam forms and are rated for winds up to 200 mph. They also provide the additional benefit of excellent insulation, reducing the center’s energy use.
Security:
Sixteen security cameras monitor the classrooms and playground and are viewable by parents in the main lobby. Our front door is securely restricted and requires a parent’s code to enter. We also have a state of the art Firespy Fire Alarm System with over 40 smoke detectors, heat sensors, strobes, and horns.
Privacy Fencing:
A five-foot high privacy fencing secures our playground.
CPR/First Aid:
Our teachers and staff are trained annually in adult and child CPR/First Aid and trained in the use of our automated external defibrillator (AED).
